Some mornings, you can’t help but feel like livestock at the slaughterhouse.

Unable to see beyond the serpentine ramp. Unable to take a deep breath or disregard the tightness in your chest.

No matter how much you try to rationalize and motivate yourself. You realize the feat is beyond your current capacity.

You understand that while you may despise the thought, you need help.
Having to ask, only compounds an already dangerous situation, but you reach out nonetheless.

The alternative is a journey of no return, and you want to believe there is still reason to choose otherwise.

The few have someone they can entrust their life with to aid in the healing. Many others are not so fortunate in their dire time of need. Fewer still will hide in plain sight until it is too late, and we all realize we were blind to their pain.

This subject is very tough to stomach, so most avoid it altogether. I would caution you that it is not as rough as deciding if life is worth continuing.

Moments such as these are critical. Our world harbors many lost souls trying to see their way beyond this heartbreak frozen in time. Just look around you to know how blessed you are.

While we all have bad days, we must develop the compassion to understand the degree of sadness others must try to deal with. So we can see these wounded and broken to better shores.

If you are desperate, reach out for help.
If you are blessed, reach out your helping hand.
