Morning Discovery
The fuzzy one and I made our morning rounds, he struggled to wake or even walk this morning.
I suspect his recent grooming to be the cause, such a drain to remain beautiful and loved.
We walked out beneath milky sky, I felt a cartoon character as it hardly seemed real.
As fuzzy searched out “The perfect spot” we became aware of an oddity in feel and vision.
A line, running east and west within our yard, on one side snow of depth, the other a dusting.
This was the object of attention for him, distraction until he finally did his thing.
I tried looking at the surrounding neighbors yards but was unable to tell if common or uniquely ours alone. This 4 am the water color sky did not yield enough light for me to tell.
The line was about 50 feet south of the house, and I was not sure if single sided or both sides of the home.
We spent some time of investigation before fuzzy decided he preferred the feel of cold grass in place of all the snow areas we had previously foot printed.
After several weeks of things around me being slightly less than normal, I decided to make a mental note and pack it in.
After all a man needs his morning coffee, and fuzzy runway model requires breakfast.
All I can hope is that if the heavens are speaking, at some point I begin to hear.
