Smoothing my hard edge

Skitterphoto

Yesterday I purchased a small bag of skittles while checking out of the grocery line.

I was thinking of my friend the gorgeous mess Kira Dawn wondering if she was ok.

Once in the truck heading home I tossed a handful into my mouth discovering I didn’t care for them. While the remaining bag was easy enough to dispose of, my mouthful of sugar was another matter.

Once home putting the groceries away I was able to counter the sweetness with a stiff coffee.

I have not had starburst or other candy for quite some time so I am sure the shock factor will return if ever I decide to indulge again.

For now, I think I will exchange the skittles for prayer in the case of my friend.
